One of my hobbies is make jewelry. I started out with "hand tied" anklets and I made one for almost every outfit I had.  

Than I learned how to make earrings and so now I have quite a collection of those as well. I've made a lot more than these but these are some of my favorites.

 

Once I "discovered" stretch cord, I started making anklets and bracelets with that. They are much nicer, in my opinion, because you don't have to mess with a clasp.

The earrings on the left (below) are shell pieces. The two other sets have matching anklets, bracelets and necklaces.

My niece also likes to bead but she does far more elaborate things than I do. Here is just one example, a pattern she made up herself. I think it turned out gorgeous!
